Congratulations to Joe!!!

Joe had a CT scan and got a clean bill of health. Of course, all his internal organs were gone as well after the wonderful chemo. Just less potential problems in the future Joe! Who needs a liver or spleen? They just take up space.

Anyway, congrats to Joe and Majbritt (and Hannah and Thomas for having such a strong Dad and wonderful Mom!). Here are a few cancer jokes for you. You and Majbritt have certainly handled this crazy ride with grace and humor. Looking forward to a healthy year!

A testicular cancer patient asks his urologist whether the orchiectomy will be painful. The doctor replies "only when you get my bill".

Every start chewing a stick of gum after forgetting to remove the tinfoil? Platinum-based chemotherapy is sort of like that, except that there's no gum in the tinfoil.

I wonder if platinum-based chemotherapy yields a high enough concentration to set off airport metal detectors. If so, it won't help to explain that chemotherapy is a derivative of chemical weapons.

Genie of the Lamp
Jacob was walking home, when suddenly he stumbled on a magic lamp. He rubbed the lamp, and out came a Muslim genie. The genie told Jacob he could make three wishes, but that he would give twice the same thing to his worst enemy.

Jacob immediately thought about his annoying neighbor. Then he asked the genie for a big mountain of gold. Poof--there was a big mountain of gold on his backyard. He looked at the other side of the street, and his neighbor had two big mountains of gold.

Then he asked the genie for the ten most beautiful women the genie could think of. Poof - there were in front of him ten statuesque supermodels. He looked at the other side of the street, and his neighbor had twenty superstars from Hollywood.

Now Jacob had plenty of money and beautiful women.
So he asked the genie: Does it hurt to take out one testicle?

Thanks John. That picture was taken on Christmas Eve, I had a nurse come to the house on Christmas Day, She examined me and called the Dr. and they sent me to the ER for fluids and testing.
As bad as I feel now, I felt much worse then.
I'm getting stronger, I even did 30 minutes on the exercise bike last night!
Anyway, the important thing is the CT ws all clear, it feels SOOOOO GOOD to be Cancer Free!!!!!!
LiveStrong,
joe

Glad to hear the good news Joe. Hopefully I'll see all of you soon!
