Danny and other Heroes


When we moved in last August, we had help from Danny. He was great, helping to paint, move stuff, entertain the kids, clean. He even agreed to bathe every day! Way to go Danny!!!




WE also enlisted the help of Spiderman, whose services were not in high demand back then. He agreed to hold open the doors so the wind wouldn't blow them shut. He was quite up to the task. He asked about simply using a web to hold the door open, but Michele didn't want all that webby sticky stuff all over the house. He was bummed, but handled it like a true superhero should. Pouted for days and drank all my beer.

In the Army, they make us say," No Brass, No Ammo Drill Sargeant!" when we're assuming that position. And its not so much a patting down as a hitting, slapping you down. But its really the only time their allowed to put their hands on you so I guess that's their way of releasing tension.
